Fire leads to arson charges

The Windsor Police have charged a Windsor resident with arson after a house fire on Shinglecreek Court Thursday afternoon.

Windsor fire crews responded to the blaze around 5 p.m. Thursday. It caused around $10,000 in damage.

Fire investigators determined the blaze was suspicious and an arson investigation was launched.

A suspect was identified and arrested.

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
