No injuries after shots fired at downtown residence

Windsor police are investigating after shots were fired at a home on Pelissier Street early Friday morning.

Police were called to the area of Hanna Street and Pelissier Street for reports of shots fired around 2:30 a.m. Witnesses told police they heard a number of gunshots and saw two men in dark clothing running eastbound toward Ouellette Avenue.

Officers searched the area and found a home with bullet holes in the front window. No injuries were reported as a result of the gunshots.

The Forensic Identification Unit attended and processed the scene. No firearm was recovered.

A similar incident happened at a home in the west-end Monday night.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
