Weekend stabbing under investigation

Windsor police are investigating after a man showed up at hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound.

Police were called to the hospital around 1 a.m. Sunday. They learned the stabbing incident likely happened in the area of Erie Street and Dougall Avenue.

When police arrived in the area they found several people there. It was reported to them that there was an altercation involving several people.

Police contained the scene to investigate and canvassed the area looking for possible video surveillance footage. They also searched for a weapon but none was found.
