Windsor Police investigate morning shooting

Windsor police are investigating another shooting in the city.

Police were called to Balfour Boulevard near South National Street around 6 a.m. Tuesday for a report of shots fired.

Witnesses told police a black SUV was seen travelling southbound on Balfour Boulevard at the time of the shooting. No injuries were reported.

Investigators are asking residents and businesses in the area to check any surveillance footage for suspicious activity around the time of the shooting.

Windsor police are investigating multiple similar incidents that have occurred over the last two weeks. In all of the cases, shots were fired at homes throughout the city and no injuries were reported. Police continue to examine all of the cases to find out if any of them are linked.
