Kingsville pulls plug on Fantasy of Lights Market Place

Being in the red control level of Ontario's COVID-19 response framework has forced officials in Kingsville to cancel a popular event this weekend.

The Fantasy of Lights Market Place was scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

Under the new rules, outdoor gatherings are not allowed to exceed 25 people.

The Fantasy of Lights festival continues until January 8.

The town also said it would start distributing Breakfast with Santa kits on Tuesday.

Anyone interested in a pancake kit with a children's craft can drive up to the Kingsville Arena's front doors and pick it up under the awning. Officials ask families to take only one kit each.
