If you have a child that goes to Forest Glade Public School in East Windsor, you may have received a note home from the school yesterday.
The Greater Essex County District School Board reports one case of COVID-19 at the school. It is the first time an infection there has been reported.
A letter home to parents said the case is considered high-risk.
So far, the public school board has reported 83 confirmed cases within its schools. Of those, 11 are staff members.
The school board's website does not say if a cohort was sent home to self-isolate for two weeks or how many students are impacted.
The school remains open.
Meanwhile, Begley Public School is still closed after an outbreak there was declared on November 12. It includes 49 cases, including 40 students.
