Downtown fight leads to charges

Two people are facing charges after a fight in downtown Windsor sent one person to the hospital.

Windsor Police were called to the area of Wyandotte Street West and Victoria Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Friday.

When they arrived, they found an injured man who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were told multiple adult men were involved in a verbal confrontation that led to a fight.

Suspects were identified and arrests were made later Friday evening.

Bradley Dumont, 35, and Dwight Jackson, 66, both from Windsor are charged with assault causing bodily harm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
