Dangerous Driving charge for making circles on a busy road

A 21-year-old Tecumseh man faces charges after a driver disrupted traffic on County Road 42 forcing other drivers to act to avoid a crash.

Ontario Provincial Police officers were on routine patrol around 4 p.m. Sunday when they saw the driver complete two full circles on the road near Patillo Road.

Other drivers were forced to stop to avoid the vehicle.

When the police stopped the vehicle, they found cannabis inside.

Tyler Desjardin faces one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving a motor vehicle with cannabis readily available charges.

The charges have not been proven in court.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
