The Board of Directors of Stellantis was also appointed and its Articles of Association became effective. In addition, the Board appointed an Audit Committee, a Remuneration Committee and a Governance and Sustainability Committee on Sunday.

"As previously announced, the Board of Directors of Stellantis is composed of two executive directors, John Elkann (Chairman) and Carlos Tavares (Chief Executive Officer)," wrote Stellantis is a statement Sunday.

The Board also consists of nine non-executive directors.

Now that the merger has officially taken hold, trading of the Stellantis shares will begin on the Paris and Milan stock exchanges Monday, January 18, with trading to begin in New York on the following Tuesday.
