LaSalle woman wins $100,000 grand prize

A LaSalle woman won $100,000 on a holiday instant lottery ticket.

Sharon Brunette, 72, purchased an Instant Merry Money Multiplier and scratched her way to the grand prize.

"I was numb for a while. I didn't believe it," Sharon said when she picked up her winnings. "My husband and I were ecstatic!"

The retired mother of one told the OLG Prize Centre she plans to pay some bills and save the rest of her winnings.

"It still hasn't completely set in. It gets more real each day," said Brunette.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mac's on Malden Road in Windsor.
