Windsor man charged in sexual assaults

A Windsor man is facing multiple charges following a sexual abuse investigation dating back four months.

Windsor police say the investigation began in September 2020, and a suspect was arrested on September 21.

The investigation continued, and police learned there was a potential for additional victims, according to Constable Talya Natyshak. The suspect was arrested again on Monday in connection with those alleged incidents.

Kurt Lindo, 34, is charged with four counts apiece of sexual assault and sexual interference. These charges have not been proven in court.

Police say Lindo was in a position of trust and authority at the time of the incidents, and there may be even more victims. The victims interviewed so far were under age 18.

Due to the nature of the investigation, police will not release additional information.

The Special Victims Unit (SVU) continues to investigate. Anyone with information is urged to call Windsor police at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4800. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
