Windsor dog owners have till Monday to renew licences

If you live in Windsor and have one or more Fidos in your house, you have until Monday to make sure they're licenced.

The deadline for a 2021 dog licence renewal in the city of Windsor is the close of business on Monday. Late penalties and additional charges will be added on for those who are late.

Anyone who owns or harbours a dog within the city of Windsor is required to register the animal and licence it, and with many city services online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the process can be done from your home or office.

Restricted dog breeds are covered separately, with complete information online.

The first three dogs who are spayed or neutered can be licenced for $17 each, up to the Monday deadline. After the deadline, the price goes up to $32.

The city charges $34 for the first three dogs who are unaltered, then $66 after the deadline.
