Students dismissed following COVID-19 case at Catholic School

Nine students have been dismissed from Catholic Central High School after a case of COVID-19 was confirmed there.

The school board learned of the case on Sunday, and has advised all close contacts that they are not to return to school on Tuesday.

The school has  been working with Windsor-Essex County Health Unit by providing lists of students and staff who may have been directly affected. The health unit is contacting any students and staff who may have been affected and will give directions for them to follow.

A voice message to the school community was sent home Sunday afternoon telling parents that only those who have been contacted by the health unit will need to stay home. All non-affected staff and students can continue attending school as usual.

More information about cases in Windsor-Essex Catholic schools can be found here.
