Police arrest suspect in drug investigation

A Windsor woman is facing a number of drug-related charges after an investigation by the Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Unit.

Around 4:30 Friday morning, police searched a home on Matchette Road near Broadway Street after identifying a suspect in their investigation. Inside the home police found five adults including the suspect.

Investigators seized fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, and cocaine from the home.

Brandi Bishop, 36, is facing three charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with a release order. The charges have not been proven in court.
