Met Campus COVID-19 assessment centre open this week

Windsor Regional Hospital is keeping its COVID-19 assessment centre at the Met Campus open again this week for those who need to get tested.

It will be open Monday through to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The hospital said testing volumes are below capacity. However, it will keep the centre open to ensure those with symptoms of the virus can get tested the same day they book an appointment, especially with the growing prevalence of cases involving variants of concern.

The assessment centre at the Ouellette Campus remains open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Erie Shores Healthcare in Leamington has an assessment centre open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can also be booked online here.

You can book an appointment at Windsor Regional Hospital online here. Health officials ask that you have your health card ready.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Windsor Regional Hospital has adjusted the hours of its assessment centres to meet the demand for testing in the community.
