One displaced after house fire near downtown Windsor

Fire officials listed the cause of a house fire on Janette Avenue in Windsor as undetermined after an investigation on Tuesday.

The home is in the 600-block, between Wyandotte Street West and Elliott Street West.

It started around noon on Tuesday.

No one was hurt, but one person is out of their home.

The fire caused $250,000 damage.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
