Update: Firefighters respond to two house fires in Windsor

The investigation into one house fire in Windsor is just wrapping up as another gets underway.

Firefighters were called out to a home on King Street in West Windsor early Thursday morning.

No one was hurt, but one person is out of their home after the flames erupted at the house between Prince Road and Hill Avenue.

Fire officials listed the cause as undetermined, and the damage estimate is $125,000.

Meanwhile, firefighters were called out again to another home on Arthur Road between Ypres Avenue and Somme Avenue late Thursday night.

Again, no one hurt but that fire caused $400,000 damage, and the cause is also listed as undetermined.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
