Woman found deceased on Windsor riverfront identified

Windsor police say a woman found deceased on the riverfront last month has been identified.

The woman's body was discovered on the morning of May 3, off the foot of Crawford Avenue. Constable Talya Natyshak said the mystery was solved by a tip from a resident.

Police have not released the woman's name but do not believe foul play was the cause of death.

The OPP had compiled a sketch of the woman. Windsor police had also released photos of the clothing she was wearing when she was found.
