Lakeshore not offering day camps this year

The Municipality of Lakeshore will not be offering day camps this summer.

The municipality said the administration made the decision after reviewing the summer day camp regulations set out by the province. Typically the camps involve indoor activities like skating and swimming which cannot be offered with the current regulations.

The municipality will review a phased return to outdoor and indoor programming at its next council meeting on June 22, 2021.

The City of Windsor is offering summer day camps at three locations, starting the week of July 5, 2021. Registration for the camps opened on the city’s recreation website on Monday.
