Some blister packs may be missing pills, contain more than one pill in a blister pocket, or may be in the wrong order.

The packages should have 21 pills in total. There should be seven light yellow, seven orange, and seven red tablets. Each has a different level of hormone in them. Taking them in order is important to prevent pregnancy.

Linessa 28 is not affected by the recall.

Health Canada recommends taking the package back to the pharmacy for a replacement. If you have already used pills from the package, have questions or concerns about the product, or alternative methods, call a healthcare professional.
