New arrest in murder of Lamont Rhue

Windsor Police have arrested a second suspect in the murder of a 55-year-old man in February after it withdrew charges against the first suspect.

Leon Quesnel was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Lamont Rhue after his body was found on Louis Avenue. Police dropped the charge during their investigation.

On Wednesday night, members of the Windsor Police Target Base Unit found the new suspect on Marentette Avenue. They also found evidence at a home on Tuscarora Street between Louis and Marentette Avenue.

Now 51-year-old Sean Perryman of Windsor is charged with first-degree murder.

The charge has not been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
