(BlackburnNews.com file photo)An investigator from the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall will be in Windsor Monday to investigate an early morning fire on Lauzon Road.
The fire started around 2 a.m., between Riverside Drive East and Wyandotte Street East.
Windsor Police say one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police also say the fire started in a kitchen and was accidental. Careless smoking is blamed and damage is around $100,000.
Four Sarnia streets made the CAA's regional Worst Roads list this year. The only road outside of Sarnia to make the top five was Windsor's Riverside Drive East.
The city said road, water and sewer work is starting to get underway, marking another year of aggressive investment into infrastructure renewal.
