Store clerk injured in robbery

Windsor Police are looking for help after a robbery on University Avenue West between Church Street and Bruce Avenue.

Around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, a man attempted to buy something from a store, but when the transaction didn't go through, he hit the woman behind the counter and took off with the item.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

Police are looking for a white man who is about 25-years-old. He was about 5'10" with a slender build and short dark-brown hair. The suspect was wearing a blue surgical mask, a beige golf shift and tan cargo shorts.

Police ask anyone in the area with a surveillance camera to check the footage and give them a call if they have video footage of anyone resembling the description.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
