OPP on the lookout for stolen pickup used in gas theft

The Ontario Provincial Police in Lakeshore is looking for a suspect after a stolen pickup truck was involved in a gas theft early Tuesday morning.

Police arrived at a home on Oriole Park Drive in Woodslee around 3:20 a.m. after someone took a grey 2009 Ford F-150 from the driveway.

The truck has a lot of rust around the rear wheels.

About half an hour later, officers found out a suspect filled the truck up at a gas station in Comber and took off without paying after putting just over $10 in the tank.

They are looking for a white man who is about 5'6" in height and was wearing a black leather hat, leather jacket, and black gloves.

Anyone with information about the man can call the Essex County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can be left online at www.catchcrooks.com.
