Life-altering injuries after motorcycles crash head-on

The Ontario Provincial Police in Essex is investigating after two motorcycles collided head-on Thursday night, sending both riders to the hospital.

Police said one of them suffered life-altering injuries.

It happened just before 7:30 p.m. on County Road 50 at Lypps Beach Road near Harrow.

The OPP closed County Road 50 between Wright Road and County Road 41 for several hours. It reopened early Friday morning.

The investigation is ongoing, and police say they will provide further updates when they are available.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
