Windsor police arrest robbery suspect

The Windsor Police Service has arrested and charged a 21-year-old man in connection to a robbery earlier this month.

On August 2, police responded to a robbery at a business on Huron Church Road near Northwood Street. It was reported a man entered the store, brandished a knife, and demanded money. The man took off before police arrived.

As part of the investigation, police released surveillance photos of the suspect.

On Tuesday, the Windsor police reported the 21-year-old had been identified, and was arrested and charged for the robbery. The charges have not been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
