Possible COVID-19 exposure at weekend music and camping event

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is informing the public of a potential COVID-19 exposure at a Kingsville camping event.

A possible exposure has been identified at "Camp Unknown"  a music and camping event that took place from Friday, August 27 to Sunday, August 29.

WECHU asks anyone who attended the weekend event to get tested immediately and monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from the date of exposure.

The event has been added to the health unit's list of potential public exposures.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
