Police investigating collision involving cruiser

A Windsor Police officer and a civilian were taken to hospital Monday morning following a collision.

Around 10 a.m. the fully-marked Windsor Police Service vehicle was involved in a two vehicle collision on Huron Church Road.

The officer and a passenger in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No charges have been laid at this time.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or may have surveillance or dash-cam footage is encouraged to contact the Windsor Police Service.

Police also continue to investigate a separate collision involving a police cruiser on Huron Church Road that happened on Saturday. This collision delayed traffic for over three hours.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
