Fire investigated on Dougall Avenue

Fire officials in Windsor are looking into a fire not far from the downtown core.

Windsor Fire and Rescue crews were called around 11 a.m. to the area of Dougall Avenue and Erie Street West to put out the fire.

It was brought under control within half an hour and was declared out a few minutes after that.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. A fire investigator was due on scene Friday afternoon to determine the cause and an estimate of the damage.
