Police officers in LaSalle are conducting an investigation into the death of an adult man.
Investigators were seen at a home on Front Road between International Avenue and Gary Avenue late Monday afternoon and police were still present Tuesday morning.
"Officers are still investigating the circumstances of this matter and in the interest of preserving the integrity of the investigation, are not releasing any further information at this time," said a statement from the LaSalle Police Service.
It said there is no threat to the public's safety and more information will be released later.
Video on social media showed heavy police and fire presence at the home late Monday night. Large orange tarps were erected on the home's front lawn.
