Four out of their home after fire in Windsor

An early morning fire near downtown Windsor has forced four people out of their home.

Firefighters arrived at the house on Windsor Avenue about a block south of Wyandotte Street East just after 3 a.m. on Thursday.

It was out within an hour, but not before it caused $125,000 damage.

No one was hurt.

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services said the cause was accidental.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
