One person displaced following Windsor house fire

Police are investigating after a house fire broke out in west Windsor.

The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service first reported the blaze on Wyandotte Street West near Crawford Avenue, at around 1 a.m. on Saturday.

The fire was reportedly extinguished shortly before 2 a.m. and an investigator attended the scene to determine the origin and cause.

No one was injured in the blaze but one person has been displaced. Damage is estimated at around $200,000.

The cause of the fire has not been released but the Windsor Police Service has taken over the investigation.
