Racial slurs graffitied on school bench in Leamington

The Ontario Provincial Police in Leamington is investigating after someone put racist graffiti on a bench at a local public school.

Sometime between October 12 and October 13,  someone put profanity and racial slurs on a bench at Mount Carmel-Blytheswood Public School.

The school has since cleaned up the graffiti on the bench.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
