Suspects sought after bank machine stolen in Lakeshore

Provincial police in Essex County are looking for any tips the public might have after an automated teller machine was stolen in Lakeshore.

According to investigators, two businesses near the area of St. Charles Street and Ouellette Street were broken into sometime during the early morning hours of Wednesday. During the incidents, an ATM among other items were stolen.

Images from video surveillance provided by Essex County OPP shows two individuals working together to carry the bank machine away. Both of the suspects appear to be males wearing hooded sweaters. One of the suspects had long dark pants on while the other may have been wearing light-coloured shorts.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call Essex County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
