Suspicious death under investigation

The Windsor Police Service is investigating a suspicious death.

Around 6:30 Thursday morning, officers were called to a residential building on Peter Street near Chippawa Street for a report of a man found dead in the building.

An investigation was launched and the Major Crime Unit and Forensic Unit determined the death was suspicious.

Investigators are looking for information in relation to the incident. Anyone with surveillance video in the 3400 block of Peter Street is asked to check their footage for possible evidence.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
