Police arrest suspect in graffiti spree

A 24-year-old Windsor man has been charged in connection to 10 separate graffiti incidents throughout the city.

On Friday October 22, police were called to Pitt Street for a report of a mischief. Officers reviewed surveillance footage and determined the incident happened on October 17.

Through their investigation, police identified and arrested a suspect on Friday. The 24-year-old was charged with mischief under $5,000.

The Property Crimes Unit continued its investigation to determine if the suspect could be linked to other acts of vandalism reported throughout the city, many of which used the tag "KURS".

As a result, the suspect was arrested again on November 1 and is facing another nine counts of mischief under $5,000. The charges have not been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
