Some closures on Remembrance Day

If you have business at Windsor City Hall, it'll have to wait until Friday.

All government offices are closed for Remembrance Day.

That means there is no parking enforcement on Thursday, and the 311 Customer Contact Centre is closed. It will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday.

The 211 Call Centre remains open.

Public libraries are closed.

There is no mail delivery, and banks are closed.

Garbage and recycling pickup will continue on Thursday, and the Public Drop Off and Household Chemical Waste Depots are open.

All indoor recreational facilities are open.

Transit Windsor buses are operating on their usual weekday schedule.

The Chimczuk Museum and Francois Baby House are open, and admission is free on Thursday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
