UPDATE: Bus driver charged after collision

A collision involving a school bus sent three passengers to hospital with minor injuries.

Kingsville Ontario Provincial Police responded to the collision at the intersection of Road 8 East and Graham Sideroad around 7:50 a.m..

The Greater Essex County School Board confirmed the bus was going to Gosfield North Public School.

Constable Steven Duguay said the bus had five students on board at the time of the collision. Two students and the driver were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, the bus driver, a 47-year-old Kingsville resident, was charged with failing to yield to traffic.

The other driver involved in the collision was treated and released by EMS on scene.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
