4,000 illegal cannabis plants seized from Kingsville greenhouse

The Essex County Ontario Provincial Police seized over 4,000 illegal cannabis plants from a greenhouse in Kingsville Tuesday.

Essex County OPP officers searched the greenhouse on Road 2 East near Graham Sideroad along with members of the Community Street Crime Unit.

Over 4,000 plants and 10 pounds of cannabis bud were seized.

No arrests or charges were reported however the investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
