Charges in Naylor Sideroad crash

An Essex man is charged following a two-vehicle crash that sent two people to the hospital on Monday morning.

The collision involving a minivan and a tractor-trailer shut down a section of Naylor Sideroad between County Road 46 and South Middle Road for several hours while crews picked up the debris.

The driver in the minivan and a passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and the truck driver was not hurt.

A 44-year-old man faces one count of failing to yield from a driveway.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
