Police investigate fatal west-end collision

Two people have died and two others are injured after a single-vehicle crash in the city's west-end.

Police were called to the scene at Wyandotte Street West and Rankin Avenue around 2 a.m. Saturday.

According to Staff Sergeant Jeff Taylor, preliminary investigation shows the vehicle was possibly travelling at a high rate of speed and appears to have lost control and hit a utility pole.
