GTA man charged with threatening a Leamington business

A man from the Greater Toronto Area is now facing a variety of charges following a weekend incident at a business.

Ontario Provincial Police's Leamington detachment said it happened just after midnight at a store on Erie Street South. Few details were released, but officers who responded to the scene noted several alleged offences.

It was determined that multiple offences took place, and the 49-year-old Scarborough man was charged with two counts each of using an imitation firearm and threatening to cause death or bodily harm.

The man was being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
