Suspect arrested in robbery investigation

Windsor police have arrested a man wanted in connection to a robbery at a convenience store on the weekend.

Around 6 a.m. Sunday, a convenience store on Seminole Street was robbed with a weapon.

Police issued an arrest warrant for a 36-year-old on Monday after a female suspect was arrested and charged for the incident.

Around 2:30 p.m. Monday police found the suspect at a home on Reginald Street and he was arrested.

He was wanted for two counts of robbery with an offensive weapon and one count of failing to comply with a release order.

None of the charges have been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
