No lights in LaSalle

The Town of LaSalle has cancelled the LaSalle Holiday Lights Heritage Nights and Sounds of the Season event Saturday night.

Environment Canada has issued a strong wind warning, with gusts up to 90 kilometers per hour.

"The cancellation is in an abundance of caution for public safety," a notice from the town read.

The Holiday Lights Heritage Nights are held on the grounds of the LaSalle Civic Centre. The event lasts until January 9, 2022.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
