Kingsville man charged with assault, making threats

The Ontario Provincial Police has arrested a Kingsville man following an incident Monday.

It happened around 7 p.m. at a home on Main Street East. Few details have been released, but police say threats were made at the location.

Once police determined a criminal offence had occurred, they took a 37-year-old man into custody.

He is charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

The charges have not been proven in court. The suspect will have a chance to respond to the counts in a Windsor court at a later date.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
