UPDATE: No injuries in two Windsor fires

Windsor firefighters were kept busy Tuesday night after fires broke out at a south-end townhome and in Walkerville.

Crews responded to an upgraded fire inside an attached garage of one of the units on Sixth Street sometime around 9 p.m.

The fire was out a short time later and workers remained on the scene to conduct an overhaul and ventilate the home.

No one was hurt and the cause is listed as careless disposal of smoking materials.

It caused $125,000 damage.

Meanwhile, crews also responded to a fire at an autobody shop on Kildare Road not far from Ottawa Street.

There were no injuries in that fire either.  It is still under investigation, but fire officials peg damage at $125,000.
