Recycling collection could be delayed

The Essex Windsor Solid Waste Authority is warning residents recycling collection may be delayed because of staff shortages.

The authority says the shortages are a result of illness among staff due to Omicron.

For the most up-to-date information on collection delays, the authority says residents should download the Recycle Coach app, follow the EWSWA on social media or visit the EWSWA website.

At the time of publication, there were no specific delays noted on the authority's website.
