Crash leads to charges against Tecumseh man

A 44-year-old Tecumseh man faces careless driving and refusing to comply with a demand charges after a crash Tuesday afternoon.

The Ontario Provincial Police and Tecumseh Fire and Rescue arrived just before 3 p.m. after two vehicles collided on Brighton Road at Riverside Drive in Tecumseh.

When the officer spoke with one of the drivers, it became apparent he had been drinking.

However, he refused to take a roadside breath test.

Police said no one was hurt in the crash.

The charges haven't been proven in court.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
