Man accused of pulling a 'handgun' from waistband at Leamington business

A Leamington man faces charges for allegedly walking into a business and pulling a handgun out of his waistband.

Ontario Provincial Police officers were called to the business in downtown Leamington just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Once they had a description of the man, they found him and the weapon.

It turns out the handgun was actually a revolver-style pellet gun.

The 34-year-old still faces a charge of carrying a concealed weapon and will have to appear in a Leamington courtroom on March 11.
