Early morning collision sends pickup truck off riverfront Festival Plaza

Windsor police are investigating an early morning collision that sent a driver off the road and onto the riverfront.

Few details are known at this time, but photos show the pickup truck flipped upside down at the riverfront behind the festival plaza.

The accident appears to have occurred at the corner of McDougall Street and Riverside Drive.

Sargeant Richard Antal says the vehicle went across Riverside Drive and ended up going down the embankment there into the plaza.

No injuries have been reported. This is a developing story, more details to come.
